Exhibition Place (the large beige building located just inside the front gates at the EX) is home to the GO4health EXpo - one stop shopping for health information for you and your family.
Join in the fun - take in one of the many activity demonstrations on the physical activity stage or in the Krevco lap pool. Learn how you can plan, cook and eat together as a family with the many great recipes that are served up on the nutrition stage. Take a stroll through the Giant Colon, stop by and play in the "in motion" play zone and Wii centre.
Each day, we will be giving out free pedometers and bike helmets supported by Manitoba in motion and Manitoba Healthy Living, Youth and Seniors. Be sure to enter the many daily draws and for your chance to win a new bike.
Whether you are discovering the EX again or attending for the first time, there is something for everyone.
Join us on Seniors Day - Wednesday, June 22. Many senior serving organizations will be on hand with information, activities and resources to help you and your loved ones to Live Well at 55+. Older adults 55 and over pay just $5 to get into the EX and will receive free coffee from Salisbury House and a free ride on the Ferris Wheel and Merry Go Round.
Join us on Family Day - Sunday, June 26 and go smoke free. If you are a smoker - not to worry - health professionals will be on site handing out free nicotine replacement therapy so you can enjoy the day with your family and friends.
How are you getting to the Red River Ex? On each Saturday throughout the EX - June 18 and June 25 - take advantage of the free park and ride at Kapyong Barrocks. You can ride your car or bike, park at Kapyong and ride the free shuttle bus directly to the front gates of the EX. The Winnipeg Bike Valet service will be onsite to park your bike each Saturday.
